Tips: Search Current Auctions
When you're researching items to sell on eBay, why not look on eBay itself ? eBay's search function (just click the Advanced Search link at the top of any page) lets you search both live and closed auctions in a number of different way. In particular, you can search current auctions to judge how hot or cold a particular type of item is.
If you don't know much about something, do a search on eBay. If you see 50 of them with no bids, don't bother. If you see only one or two and they're getting 50 bids, you're onto something.
